2005 Sutphen Monarch Pumper Engine 4-2

Duties:

Engine 4-2 was designed and built over an 18 month period beginning in the summer of 2004 and delivered in October of 2005.  The pumper was built around 2 major components, the CAFS (compressed air foam system) and the unique top mount – side mount pump panel.  This feature places the pump operator higher than conventional top mount pumpers and allows for a complete 360 degree view of the fire scene.  The CAFS system reduces hand line weight by over 90% and provides extremely fast knockdown capability.  Engine 4-2 is our ‘first out’ pumper for structure fires.
