Brunswick Fire Co. No. 1, Inc. is a voluntary company that is responsible for Fire Protection and Suppression, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services in the Town of Brunswick --- located east of the City of Troy, on 566 Hoosick Rd. The fire district is comprised of mostly residential neighborhoods with commercial development on NYS Route 7.
Attention:
Brunswick Fire is actively seeking experienced young people interested in fire rescue or EMS. With active membership, you receive free turnout gear (bunker pants, jackets, boots and helmet). Brunswick 1 trains every Monday night, Thursday mornings, and Saturday morning/afternoons (when noted). If interested, please either call (518) 272-9393, stop by the station at the address noted above, or follow the link below for an application. Latest news: June 2008 had the largest number of calls, 55, in Brunswick No. 1's history for that particular month
